As a small interior project the scope of work called for complete renovation to the chancel area. The existing alter was moved forward and the small alcove which it occupied was opened up and expanded to reveal two existing stained glass windows. The chancel platform was re-configured allowing the choir to face the congregation, and offering more flexible use by the contemporary choir and other forms of Christian performance.

The existing vaulted acoustic tile ceiling was refinished with drywall to define acoustics. Existing cove lighting was replaced by chandeliers with both up and down lighting on separate switches, greatly improving the lighting quality. Air conditioning of the sanctuary was also included as part of the renovation work. The existing pews remained and were refinished. The chancel furniture was also refurbished for inclusion in the new design.
