The Community Center at Maple Village is the central building on the site surrounded by 38 cottages. It contains 108 residential apartments and 32 Assisted Living apartments as well as the public spaces for the entire community, including the Dining Room and Coffee Shop, Community Room, Beauty Salon, Library, and Administrative Offices. The Dining Room, constructed within the renovated building, features a Veranda with the original stone wall opening up onto a Terrace for outdoor dining. This project was the recipient of the 2002 Historic Preservation Award from the Montgomery County Historical Association.
